Our underwater pelletizer can process thermoplastic resins such as PP, PE, EVA, nylon, polycarbonate, and filler materials such as glass fiber and calcium carbonate.

Match the model according to the target output:

Small and medium scale (100-850 kg/h): HWP200-800 series, manual/pneumatic control is suitable for multi-variety switching;
Large scale (1.2-10 tons/h): HWP1500 and above models, hydraulic/servo system ensures high-speed and stable cutting (speed ≤650 rpm).

 

Tool life depends on material properties and production load:

  • General resin: Each set of tools can run 2000-3000 hours
  • Abrasive materials: Life is shortened to 500-800 hours, it is recommended to choose titanium carbide composite tools.

Compared with strand pelletizing, the energy consumption is reduced by 15-30%, mainly due to:

  • Integrated cooling system: cutting and cooling are completed simultaneously, without additional air cooling;
  • Efficient transmission: the servo hydraulic system (HWP4000 and above) optimizes the motor power output, and the power consumption per ton of product is about 25-40 kWh.

 

  • Warranty period: 1 year warranty for core components (screw, template), 3 months warranty for wearing parts (knife, seal);

A:  The underwater pelletizer is a machine used to produce plastic pellets. The uniform plastic pellets produced are convenient for storage and transportation and can be used to make other products.

A:  The molten plastic is extruded through a die into a chamber filled with circulating water for cooling and then cut into uniform plastic particles.

A:  

  • Particle adhesion: Check whether the water temperature exceeds 60℃ (40-50℃ is recommended) or the water hardness is too high;
  • Die head blockage: rinse with a special cleaning agent before stopping the machine, and install a double-stage filter when processing recycled materials;
  • Abnormal tool noise: Check the tool shaft bearing clearance (should be ≤0.05mm) or replace the titanium carbide coated tool.
